The Salvation Army Australia in Batemans Bay, NSW invites applications for a Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day operations and create an engaging in-store experience for customers and the local community.

Reporting to the Area Manager, this casual role offers opportunities to contribute to a team dedicated to service, integrity, and compassion. Salary and conditions align with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1, with flexibility across store locations.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience - highly regarded but not essential
• Strong customer service skills
• Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results
• Alignment with values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity
• High energy, hands-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends
• Preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities

About The Role
