Job summary

Gateways Support Services is seeking casual Residential Support Workers to empower people with disability in Camperdown, VIC. You will provide hands-on support to live independently and participate in the community.

Duties include personal care, daily living tasks and documenting progress. Flexible shifts and a supportive team environment help you grow while making a real difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and problem solving.
• High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately record case notes.
• Passion for supporting people to live their best lives.
• Current CPR, First Aid, Working with Children Check, NDIS Check and completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain).
• Victorian driver's license.

• Supporting community participation, social engagement and recreational activities.
• Encouraging independence by helping build skills and achieve goals.
• Building meaningful relationships to provide person-centred support.
