Job summary

Respect Masters Lodge is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive team on a casual basis in Queensland. You will provide safe, person-centered nursing care and work under AHPRA guidelines to support residents with dignity and independence.

Key duties include assessments, care planning, medication administration, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Current National Police Certificate.
• Understanding of government standards and legislative requirements for aged care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Understanding of the aged care accreditation process.
• Compliance with Aged Care Worker Screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation reflecting care delivery.
• Develop and evaluate resident care plans and assist with admissions assessments.
• Provide direct clinical care including hygiene, pain management, and GP rounds.
• Administer medications and ensure correct ordering, storage and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve resident outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents, families and staff.
