Job summary

Respect Maleny Erowal is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. You will provide safe, person-centred nursing care to residents, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting wellbeing and independence.

We value compassionate care, ongoing professional development, onsite leadership, and a friendly, supportive workplace. AHPRA registration is required, along with knowledge of aged care standards and NDIS screening where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care is preferred.
• Commitment to person-centred care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Compile patient history and assess care needs during admissions and ongoing reviews.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation reflecting care delivery.
• Develop and evaluate resident care plans and assist with admission assessments.
• Provide direct clinical care including personal hygiene, pain management, and GP rounds.
• Administer medications following organisational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve resident outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents, families and staff.
