Job summary

St Vincent de Paul Society NSW is seeking casual Warehouse Production Hand staff for the Return and Earn bottle recycling facility in Wagga Wagga. The role involves receiving containers, operating a sorting machine, and processing sales/refunds via a POS system with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

On‑the‑job training is provided; forklift licence is desirable and prior warehouse experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Experience in warehouse or production environment is desirable.
• Ability to perform manual/physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containers.
• Use forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers.
• Operate point of sale system for accurate sales and refunds.
• Assist in other activities such as housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
