Job summary

Croydon Shire Council is seeking a motivated Casual Swimming Pool Attendant to manage the day-to-day operation of the Croydon Swimming Pool. This role supports health, wellbeing and recreation for the Croydon community and ensures a safe, welcoming environment for pool users.

Key duties include supervising patrons, pool maintenance, administration, reporting and delivering excellent service while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• First aid and CPR certification current or able to be obtained.
• Customer service and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervising patrons and maintaining a safe pool environment.
• Cleaning and maintaining the pool and surrounding facilities.
• Completing administration, record keeping and reporting.
• Providing excellent customer service and promoting community participation.
• Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met.
