Qualifications

• Relevant qualification as a Pharmacy Assistant or Dispensing Technician, or willingness to work towards one.
• Strong attention to detail with numerical and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work methodically for accuracy.
• Good communication skills and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
• Reliability and punctuality with flexible casual hours.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and pharmacy standards.
• Physical capability for standing, reaching and lifting.
• Willingness to learn medications and pharmacy practices.

Responsabilités

• Assist with accurate dispensing and labelling of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain and organise pharmacy stock, including receiving and checking deliveries.
• Provide customer service at the counter, answer enquiries and process transactions.
• Prepare and pack medications according to prescriptions and protocols.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Support pharmacist with general duties and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy legislation, regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and orderly pharmacy environment.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
