UPA in New South Wales is seeking directly employed casual Personal Care Workers. You’ll work with familiar residents and teams, enjoying induction, ongoing support and the chance to move into ongoing or permanent roles when available.

Responsibilities include person-centred care, daily living support, mobility assistance and documentation. Applicants should have a Certificate III in Ageing or be working toward one and hold Australian working rights.

Qualificações

• Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or be working toward one.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to supporting older people.
• Reliable and available for shifts as required.
• Good communication and teamwork with care teams.
• Hold current Australian working rights.
• Able to work across a range of days and shift times.
• Residential aged-care experience and a current First Aid Certificate desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Providing respectful, person-centred care.
• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assisting residents with mobility.
• Supporting medication administration when trained and competent.
• Completing accurate care documentation.
• Working closely with nurses and other care employees.
• Building positive relationships with residents and their families.
