Job summary

QuickCare is seeking casual Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Educators to support school-aged children across Penrith and the Blue Mountains. Join a flexible team delivering engaging care before, after, and during school holidays.

We welcome educators with a relevant qualification or working toward a Certificate III or Diploma, a NSW Working With Children Check, and safety training. Enthusiasm for child development and collaboration with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or School Age Education and Care (or currently pursuing).
• NSW Working With Children Check required.
• Gecko Training Certificate is required or training on safety protocols is preferred.
• First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training are advantageous.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support before-school, after-school and vacation care programs.

• Collaborate with fellow educators to deliver engaging care experiences.

• Follow child safety, supervision and service policies.

What We're Looking For

• Educators who hold a relevant qualification or are currently working towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or School Age Education and Care.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the early childhood education and care industry.

• A valid NSW Working With Children Check and Child Safety Gecko Training Certificate are required.

• Relevant First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training are advantage.

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.

• Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to accept casual shifts across Penrith and the Blue Mountains.
