Job summary

Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital in Hove, South Australia, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a casual basis. You will work across orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and general rehabilitation caseloads, collaborating with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, nursing staff and medical teams to deliver patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in rehabilitation is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, implement and evaluate clinical care with patients and multidisciplinary team to achieve goals.
• Coordinate education and support to patients and carers/families for recovery, discharge plans or end-of-life needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Commit to ongoing learning and professional development to support case mix and registration.
