Job summary

ISS Facility Services (Australia) is seeking reliable Casual Utility Allrounders to support multiple mine sites in the Bowen Basin (Emerald & surrounds). The role offers a casual, multi-site roster with varied duties across housekeeping, kitchen hand tasks, dining room service, mine site cleaning, and tavern operations.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in remote settings or hospitality, have unrestricted work rights in Australia, and hold required safety certifications; a positive,

Qualifications

• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
• Must pass Queensland Coal Board Medical Including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance
• Safe Food Handling Certificate will be required
• Driver's License/ Photo ID required
• RSA Certificate (desired)
• Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
• Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning and tavern operations.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
