Crofton Medical Centre in Bundaberg is seeking a Medical Receptionist General Practice to join our friendly, family-owned team on a casual basis. You will be front desk, manage patient flow, maintain patient confidentiality, and use Best Practice software.

Vaccination evidence and basic MS Word/Excel skills are required. We value a courteous, well-presented front-line presence and commitment to ongoing professional development in a supportive clinic.

Qualifications

• Vaccination evidence against Covid-19, Influenza, and other communicable diseases.
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be friendly, courteous, and well-presented.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritise and organise, with attention to detail.
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
• Knowledge of Best Practice software
• Completion of an accredited medical receptionist course/ knowledge of medical terminology
• CPR/Triage training and/or experience

Responsibilities

• Work as a medical receptionist in a general practice.
• Front desk duties and patient co-ordination (inferred from role).
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information.
