Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a casual Medical Assistant for our Rockhampton practice. You will work with an experienced team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality patient care while supporting reception and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant or Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting, or first year of Bachelor of Nursing completed.
• Flexibility with availability.
• Working With Children Check Clearance.
• Evidence of routine immunization serology.
• Eligibility to work in Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Stock clinical areas and replenish stock before depletion.
• Clean and sterilise instruments and maintain equipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Document all patient care activities.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the first contact for patients.
• Provide admin support.
