Job summary

Hawkesbury City Council in Windsor, NSW is seeking a Casual Library Assistant to join a proactive Arts and Culture team. You will assist with library services, run programs, and engage with diverse community members on-site at the library.

The role requires a Higher School Certificate, strong communication, and the ability to work with adults and children. Applicants must have WWCC and the right to work in Australia. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Higher School Certificate
• Excellent public manner and ability to communicate well with a wide range of people
• Ability to determine customer needs and achieve quality outcomes
• Ability to work with adults and children
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to become skilled with unfamiliar software and technology in general
• The right to live and work in Australia
• Class C Drivers Licence
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
