InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort in Queensland is seeking an experienced Steward (Casual) to support a busy kitchen operation. Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will help maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas to uphold our high standards.

This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting a career in hospitality; you should be detail oriented, reliable, and able to work irregular shifts, including overnights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

Entry level role into the hospitality industry.
Some experience in a kitchen environment is a plus.
Available to work irregular shifts across a rotating seven day roster including overnights, holidays and weekends.
Must hold the appropriate work rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and premises, maintaining hygienic standards and practices.
Cleaning and sanitising of all kitchen areas, rubbish removal, cardboard recycling, dish wash operation, manual pot washing and cleaning.
Working independently and as part of a cohesive team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort we are looking for an experiencedSteward (Casual)to join our team on a casual basis.

Your day to day

We're looking for Stewards who are hands on and who know what it takes to support a busy kitchen operation.

Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will support the Food and Beverage operation of the Resort by:

Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and the premises, whilst maintaining hygienic standards and practices.
Cleaning and sanitising of all kitchen areas, rubbish removal, cardboard recycling, dish wash operation, manual pot washing and cleaning.
Working independently, and as part of a cohesive team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are maintained.
