The Darebin RSL Sub Branch Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic staff member to join a fun, hardworking kitchen team for a Casual/Part Time position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and strong interpersonal skills under pressure.

Responsibilities include stock delivery oversight, maintaining ingredient quality, cooking for dining and functions, and strict hygiene compliance. Shortlisted candidates only will be contacted.

Formación

• Demonstrable passion for food and ability to follow/give directions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
• Willingness to contribute to seasonal menu design and dish development.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing delivery of stock of food and equipment, and completing purchase orders.
• Ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients and meals.
• Prepare and cook foods for dining and function service.
• Enforce hygiene regulations and check equipment cleanliness.
• Food stocktaking and waste management.
• Conduct daily temperature checks.
