Job summary

Cricket NSW is recruiting for a Casual Program Coordinator to support junior cricket programs across Blacktown, Nepean and Hawkesbury. You will deliver programs in schools and clubs, building engagement and participation in community cricket.

Experience in teaching or cricket is welcome but not required. A WWCC and own transport are recommended, with a flexible schedule and potential to work outdoors in varying locations.

Qualifications

• Energetic, enthusiastic and imaginative
• Reliable and willing to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage, develop and sustain stakeholder relationships
• Be flexible and adaptable to a changing schedule
• Have a valid or be willing to acquire a Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Have your own form of transport (car)
• A background in teaching and/or cricket is desirable but not necessary
• A Valid First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver engaging programs that teach important cricket skills to children in schools and clubs
• Promote community engagement throughout schools during the cricket season
• Provide in person quality delivery, engagement & support of School programs including Health and PE, Sporting Schools, Mascot Challenge and School Cups
• Assist and expand participation in Club based entry level programs including CNSW Cricket Blast Centres
• Build, maintain and leverage relationships with local schools and school ambassadors
