Job summary

AFL NSW/ACT is seeking a casual Game Development Officer for Greater Sydney. You’ll connect children, families and communities with football through school programs, Auskick and community events, across Western Sydney and the Northern Beaches.

You don’t need AFL experience; bring love of sport, energy and a positive attitude. Training provided; must hold NSW Working with Children Check; a current driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging activities to groups of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable car.
• Flexibility to work during school hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skills-based sessions in schools and clubs.
• Deliver Auskick and Superkick programs.
• Support community events and game days.
• Champion inclusion across diverse communities.
• Build positive relationships with schools, clubs and families.
• Grow participation and connections in Greater Sydney.
