Job summary

El Camino Cantina in The Rocks is hiring a friendly Host to welcome and seat guests, manage flows, and keep the front desk polished. This role suits someone with cafe or restaurant experience, strong communication, and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment.

RSA certificate required. Availability for Friday and Saturday dinner services is preferred, with hours per week flexible. We offer training, coaching and staff discounts across our 60 venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host in a cafe or restaurant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.

We’re the full-throttle Tex-Mex experience with loud tunes, legendary frozen margaritas, colourful sombreros, and epic share plates, all delivered with a side of high-energy fun. The go-to destinations for big flavours, vibrant celebrations and unforgettable nights out, welcoming hundreds of guests through its doors every week.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
• Manage guest flows
• Maintain a polished and organised front desk environment
• Oversee the turn of tables to ensure you meet the next booking time

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Host in a cafe or restaurant
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for a minimum ofhoursper week, including Friday & Saturday dinner services
• Valid RSA certificate
