Job summary

ISS Facility Services Australia and New Zealand seeks a Chef for Flinders Medical Centre, Bedford Park, on a casual basis. You will prepare and deliver nutritious meals for hospital patients, ensuring dietary requirements and food safety standards are met.

Working with the Head Chef, you will support kitchen operations, manage bulk cooking, and contribute to a positive, patient‑focused dining experience aligned with SA Health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing bulk meals in healthcare/institutional kitchens.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and texture-modified meals is preferred.
• Understanding of food safety legislation and HACCP principles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook bulk meals for hospital patients.
