Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is recruiting a casual Home Care Employee to deliver personalised care and support in clients' homes across the Lower Blue Mountains region, including Springwood, Glenbrook, Hazelbrook, Katoomba and nearby areas.

To be considered, you must hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent) and have at least 1 year of aged care experience, with a compassionate, reliable approach to helping older people live safely and independently at home.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support required.
• At least 1 year of experience in aged care.
• Able to work with care recipients and maintain independence at home.

Responsabilités

• Meal assistance including shopping, meal prep and helping with eating.
• Transport and accompaniment to appointments and errands.
• Social support and activities including outings and events.
• Personal care including showering and bathing, basic self-care duties.
• Domestic assistance and light housekeeping.
• Medication assistance as needed.
