Job summary

ABCARE Disability Support – District Park NSW is seeking a High Intensity/Complex Care Support Worker to join our Newcastle and Northern Lake Macquarie team on a casual basis. You will provide hands-on, person-centred support to participants with complex needs, including high intensity personal care and health support.

Qualifications

• Required disability, community services, health or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience delivering high intensity or complex disability support.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, Police Check current within required period.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide high intensity personal care and complex disability support.
• Assist with transfers, manual handling and PEG/enteral feeding.
• Medication support and health management.
• Support community access and participant routines.
• Accurate progress notes and documentation.
• Maintain participant rights, dignity and privacy.
