Job summary

Linfox is seeking a motivated casual HC driver to join our Intermodal team in Caboolture, QLD. You will operate our HC truck, complete daily loads of timber, and deliver to local customers with safety and customer service at the forefront.

Shifts run Monday to Friday from early morning with overtime as needed. A current HC licence and knowledge of load restraints and road transport laws are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid HC licence.
• Experience with load restraints and manual handling preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive HC truck to perform loads and deliver timber products to local customers.
• Operate safely in line with Linfox safety standards and Vision Zero.
• Adhere to a consistent Monday–Friday day shift with possible weekends.
• Ensure load restraints are correctly applied and follow road transport rules.

What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking a motivated and flexible casual HC driver to join the team located in Caboolture QLD. As a part of this role, you will be required to operate our HC truck completing a number of loads per day while safely delivering a variety of timber products to our local customers. We currently have a casual role available working Monday to Friday starting between 3-4am and finished between 2-4pm. Reasonable overtime will be included as needed. Key Areas:

• Driving to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
• Available to work a consistent roster Monday to Friday on day shift plus weekends
• Completing correct load restraints and manual handling techniques.
• Ability to work & communicate effectively with team members, managers & customers on a day-to-day basis.
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.

Are you the one?

• Current and valid HC license or above.
• Flexibility to work different start times as required
• History of safe work practices.
• Familiarity with Brisbane metro and surrounding areas.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
