Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group seeks a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer for Cape Paterson Holidays site in Victoria. You’ll maintain gardens, clear debris, and handle basic repairs to keep our park welcoming and safe for guests.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll work with residents and team members, applying practical knowledge of chemicals, equipment, and site safety to deliver a consistently clean, well‑maintained environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and garden care.
• Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Hold a current C class driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas: pruning, weeding, fertilising, planting, mulching, hedging, mowing.
• Keep grounds clean and safe: debris removal, bin collection, weed/pest control, pool areas.
• General repairs: tools, lighting, fencing, painting, and small maintenance tasks.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests and log activities.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage and incidents.
• Linen stripping and amenity cleaning duties are part of the role.
