Job summary

HealthcareLink Trust in Cairns is seeking a casual Registered Nurse (or Enrolled Nurse) for a General Practice. The role offers a busy, patient-centered environment with training and mentorship and a high-volume casual roster (4-5 shifts, ~30-37.5 hours weekly).

You will provide triage, immunisations, ECGs and GP support, with emphasis on health assessments, care plans and health coaching, across flexible hours Monday to Friday and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• General Registration and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Experience in Australian general practice preferable.
• Full work rights preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage, emergency response, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry and audiograms.
• Assist with surgical procedures, excisions and wound management.
• Health assessments, chronic disease care plans and health coaching.
