Respect St John's is seeking a Casual Maintenance Services Assistant to help keep gardens and outdoor areas tidy, safe and welcoming for residents. You will perform handyman tasks, maintain buildings and equipment, and support safety and scheduling across the site.

Ideal candidates are practical, dependable and flexible, with gardening/maintenance experience, a valid Driver’s Licence and the ability to work independently, including short-notice shifts and occasional on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Practical, dependable attitude with pride in work.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly on casual shifts.
• Willingness to obtain essential checks (Police Certificate).

Responsabilités

• Keep gardens and outdoor areas neat, safe and welcoming.
• Tackle general handyman and maintenance tasks around the site.
• Maintain buildings, equipment and communal areas in good condition.
• Identify issues early and inform the right people.
• Assist with maintenance and gardening supplies and keep things organized.
• Keep maintenance records and schedules up to date.
• Support safety and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors when required.
• Keep site vehicles clean and ready to go.
• Provide occasional on-call support and cover planned leave.
