Job summary

The USU in Sydney is hiring casual hospitality staff to help run HostCo functions and events. You will assist with food and beverage service, event setup and pack-down, and deliver friendly, professional service to guests at graduation ceremonies and other events.

The role requires at least 1 year in hospitality, the ability to carry 3 plates, flexibility with hours, and a current RSA. Competitive casual rates, paid training, staff perks, and meal allowances are available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year's demonstrated hospitality experience.
  • Ability to carry 3 plates.
  • Flexible hours and availability across 7 days.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) competency card.
  • Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA


  • Minimum of 1 year's demonstrated experience working in the hospitality industry

  • Ability to 3 plate carry

  • Flexibility regarding hours worked

  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol competency card

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service


DESIRABLE CRITIERIA


  • Current Australian driver's license

  • Barista experience


HOURS OF WORK

Hours of work will vary week to week and will span over 7 days

THE PAY

$34.05 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) per hour + 12% Superannuation
