Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Casual Field Technician to support our Precision Agronomy and Field Services teams across Central & Southern NSW. This hands-on role involves soil sampling, outdoor work, and building relationships with growers while delivering precision agriculture services.

Reporting to the Precision Services Manager, you will plan visits, manage a busy field schedule, travel across properties, and stay safety-focused while using specialised equipment.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Confidence working directly with farmers and rural customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a soil sampling buggy and associated equipment.
• Conduct soil sampling and other field-based agronomy activities.
• Travel to customer properties and agricultural sites across Central & Southern NSW.
• Build positive relationships with growers and customers both over the phone and on-farm.
• Plan and coordinate customer visits to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Collect and record accurate field data.
• Work safely in a range of farming environments and weather conditions.
• Maintain equipment and ensure vehicles are kept in good working order.
• Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism.

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Casual Field Technician to support our Precision Agronomy and Field Services team. This is a hands-on role that will see you working across regional farming areas across Central & Southern NSW, collecting soil samples, building relationships with growers, and supporting precision agriculture services in the field.

This role is ideal for someone who loves working outdoors, travelling, meeting farmers, operating specialised agricultural equipment and growing a genuine interest in modern agriculture with Nutrien

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Precision Services Manager, you'll enjoy the freedom and flexibility of working autonomously across your designated territory, planning customer visits and managing your daily schedule. While this role requires the ability to work independently and manage your workload autonomously, you'll be backed by a friendly, supportive, and experienced team who are committed to helping you succeed.
