Job summary

Solterra Agriculture is seeking casual farm support across Coolana near Forbes, NSW, and Worral Creek in southern Queensland during seeding and harvest seasons. You may assist with planting, support harvest operations, drive tractors, operate irrigation pivots, and perform minor maintenance.

A driver’s license and Australian working rights are required, with on-farm accommodation available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Australian working rights (visa) required.
• Driver's licence required (own car preferred).
• Able to work during seeding and harvest seasons.
• Able to work safely in a farming environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planting and harvest operations.
• Drive tractors as required by tasks.
• Operate irrigation pivots and monitor water use.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Company Description

We’re always on the lookout for casual support across our farming operations during the busy seeding and harvest seasons. Solterra Agriculture operates two large scale cropping farms, Coolana near Forbes, NSW, and Worral Creek between Talwood and Mungindi, QLD.

What’s life like on the farms?

Coolana is a 9,500 hectare broadacre cropping operation near Forbes, NSW, with a strong focus on efficient and high performing farm operations.

Worral Creek is a large scale combined operation, consisting of irrigated cotton and dryland cropping across approximately 7,500 hectares in the Border Rivers region of southern Queensland.
