Job summary

Discount Safety Signs is seeking a Casual Factory Assistant to support packaging and dispatch in our Logan, Brisbane Southside facility. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. The role suits a student or semi-retired person with flexibility for 0–20 hours per week.

Key duties include packing orders, booking courier pickups, and contributing to daily production targets in a small, friendly team. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with chances to grow within a expanding company.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.
• All-rounder skills in large format finishing (laminating/mounting) would be advantageous but not required.
• Some heavy lifting and manual labour may be required.

Responsibilities

• Wrap and pack completed orders.

Casual Factory Assistant to assist in our packaging and dispatch department, working in industry leading printing and manufacturing business. We are conveniently located in Logan on Brisbane’s Southside with free parking onsite or walking distance to Loganlea translation.

No experience necessary. Full on the job training provided.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
• All-rounder skills in all aspects of large format finishing, including laminating and mounting would be an advantage, however is not required.
• Would suit a studying student or semi-retired person.
• Some heavy lifting and manual labour.

Job Responsibilities

This is a Casual position (0-20 hours per week depending on production volumes), working in a friendly, fast paced environment. Hours are flexible and can fit in with school drop off or other commitments.
