Job summary

Healthscope Hospitals is seeking Environmental Services Assistants to work across operating suites on a casual basis at Nepean Private Hospital in Penrith, NSW. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in operating theatres and related areas.

Join a supportive team within Healthscope, with flexibility to work across multiple sites and on-call shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

Healthcare/hotel/airline cleaning experience.
Working with Children check.
Commitment to service excellence.
Time management and prioritisation.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Available for on-call shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to operating theatres.
Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas.
Upholding infection control standards by adhering to standard protocols and any additional precautions.
Disposing of soiled general and clinical waste.
Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times.
Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved.
