Job summary

QuickCare is seeking Casual Educators and Early Childhood Teachers to join our pool of relief staff across MacGregor ACT and surrounding areas. You will work across a range of early learning centres providing flexible, short-notice shifts.

We partner with services to match your skills, availability and preferences, offering ongoing support and a path to permanent placements with partner services. You’ll contribute to learning and development in line with EYLF and NQS, in a fun, supportive

Qualifications

• Qualification as a trainee educator, Certificate III, Diploma or ECT is required or ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Ability to work across multiple early learning settings with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief across long day care centres, preschools and OSHC services.
• Support children's learning, wellbeing and development aligned with EYLF and NQS.
• Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
• Assist with daily routines and build positive relationships with children, families and teams.

About the role

As a QuickCare casual, you'll provide relief cover across a variety of long day care centres, preschools and OSHC services.

The role includes:

• Supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development in line with the EYLF and NQS
• Delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
• Assisting with daily routines and building positive relationships with children, families and centre teams
• Adhering to each service's policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Trainee Educators, Certificate III, Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• A valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
• Completed Child Protection training
• A genuine love of working with children and a reliable, adaptable attitude
• Comfort working across different centres and rooms
• Your own reliable transport and availability for short-notice shifts are highly regarded
