Job summary

QuickCare is seeking Casual Educators and Early Childhood Teachers to join a Bathurst centre, offering regular weekly shifts and the stability of consistent hours.

As a QuickCare casual, you’ll work at the same site and support children’s learning in line with EYLF and NQS, while building relationships with families and the centre team. NSW WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Child Protection training are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in early childhood education.
• ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification accepted.
• A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, wellbeing and development in line with EYLF and NQS.
• Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
• Assist with daily routines and build positive relationships with children and families.
• Adhere to the service's policies and procedures.

Looking for steady casual work at one centre, without the guesswork of relief shifts? QuickCare is looking for Casual Educators and Early Childhood Teachers to join the team at one of our partner Early Learning Centres in Bathurst, with regular weekly shifts available.

About the role

As a QuickCare casual, you'll be working regularly at the same Bathurst centre, so you'll get to know the children, families and team, and settle into their routines.

The role includes:

• Supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development in line with the EYLF and NQS
• Delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
• Assisting with daily routines and building positive relationships with children, families and the centre team
• Adhering to the service's policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Certificate III, Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• A valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
• Completed Child Protection training
• A genuine love of working with children and a reliable, committed attitude
• Availability for regular weekly shifts
• Living in or near Bathurst, including Kelso, Orange, Blayney, Oberon or Lithgow
