Job summary

Milestones Early Learning Darwin City is seeking a Casual Educator to join our busy Darwin CBD centre. You will support educators across rooms, engage with children and families, and help with daily centre practices while working within standard opening hours.

You can choose shifts to fit your schedule, travel between Affinity Education centres in the Darwin area, and have the opportunity to progress to a permanent role. A Working with Children Check is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Willing to travel between multiple services and be available on short notice
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in a long day care service

Casual Educator | Milestones Early Learning Darwin City

Located on Daly Street in the heart of Darwin City, Milestones Early Learning Darwin City provides high-quality early education and care for families living and working in the Darwin CBD and surrounding suburbs. Our long day care centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and operates Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, offering flexible care options for busy city families.

Conveniently positioned near Smith Street Mall, the Darwin Waterfront and Mitchell Street, our centre is easily accessible for families from Darwin City, Larrakeyah, Stuart Park, The Gardens and Parap.

• Completed a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent or actively working towards)
• Willing to travel between multiple services and be available on short notice
• A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in a long day care service
