Mayfield Early Education Tecoma in Victoria is seeking a dedicated Casual Educator to join our friendly team. This role suits someone who loves working with young children and is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment in line with EYLF and NQF standards.

As a Casual Educator, you will support safety and well‑being, help plan age‑appropriate activities, collaborate with colleagues and families, and contribute to inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in ECEC (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Proven EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards experience.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience creating positive, engaging learning environments.
• Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety, wellbeing and comfort of all children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning space.
• Develop and implement age‑appropriate learning activities reflecting EYLF.
• Plan experiences supporting physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.

• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to support children's needs.
• Adhere to the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of child protection laws and report concerns as required.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene policies, including food safety and infection control.
