Job summary

Busy Bees is hiring a Casual Educator for Yerrabi Ponds. You will support play-based learning and EYLF initiatives, helping create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

The role requires Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards), and current First Aid/CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training, plus WWVP registration. Flexible casual shifts across 6:30am–6:30pm, Monday–Friday.

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certs (or willingness to obtain).
• Current ACT WWVP registration.

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities and supervision of children.

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  


• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
  


• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  


• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
  


• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
  


• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
  


• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  


• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP)
  


• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
  


• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
