Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Seven Hills, located in Seven Hills NSW 2147. The role is casual and involves creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children feel supported to learn.

You will work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, contributing to high standards under the EYLF and NQS frameworks while building strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for NSW.
• Experience as an Educator in Australia is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of engaging play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Assist in providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Support daily routines, activities and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with NQS.

Casual Educator | $38.71 - $47.68 per hour | Seven Hills, NSW

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Seven Hills, located at Seven Hills Plaza Shopping Centre, Shop 28/224 Prospect Highway, Seven Hills NSW 2147, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for NSW
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
