Job summary

Busy Bees is a leading global early learning provider in Australia, offering high-quality education in nurturing centres where educators grow and lead. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join Busy Bees at the centre in Townsville on a full-time basis.

You will support play-based learning, build strong relationships with children and families, and help maintain high standards under EYLF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• WWCC/Working with Children Check for QLD (and applicable regions).
• Experience as Educator in Australia is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and collaborative team approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of engaging play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Assist in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current **ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) - Working with Children Check** for **[QLD. VIC, NSW, SA, WA]**
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach**
