Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a passionate Casual Educator for its Pimpama centre. You will support play-based learning aligned with EYLF, help maintain safety and inclusivity, and foster positive relationships with children and families.

The role requires flexibility across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, and relevant Early Childhood qualifications with current safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards) required or preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check (QLD) current.
• Experience as an Educator in Australia is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Support daily routines and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards per NQS.

Casual Educator | $38.71 – $47.68 per hour | Pimpama, QLD

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Pimpama, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current - Working with Children Check for QLD
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
