Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Casual Educator at Geelong West to support safe, engaging learning experiences for children in a nurturing team environment. The role focuses on EYLF-aligned play, daily routines, and strong partnerships with families and colleagues.

Applicants should have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be working towards it), and hold current First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications, plus a VIC Working with Children Check.

Casual Educator | $38.71 - $47.68 per hour | Geelong West, VIC

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Geelong West, located at 151 Church Street, Geelong West VIC 3218, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
