Job summary

Busy Bees Belmont is seeking a casual Educator to support our team at 326 High Street, Belmont VIC 3216, on a casual basis. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported to learn and grow.

We offer flexible shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on EYLF play-based learning and strong child safety commitments. This role provides development opportunities within a supportive Busy Bees team.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of engaging EYLF-aligned play-based learning experiences.
• Assist in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Support daily routines, activities and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).

Education

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Belmont, located at 326 High Street, Belmont VIC 3216, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play‑based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
  
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
  
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
  
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
  
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
  
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
  
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
