Job summary

Mayfield Childcare Limited is looking for a Casual Educator to join Clever Kids Early Learning Centre in Carrum Downs. You will deliver age-appropriate learning experiences and work with a team to foster growth and discovery.

The role requires a Cert III in ECEC, WWCC, and experience with EYLF/NQF and Child Safe Standards. Availability 6:30am–6:30pm, Monday–Friday, is expected. We offer a supportive environment, staff benefits, and opportunities to work across 45 centres nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III qualification in ECEC (or equivalent).
• Valid WWCC and mandatory reporting certificate (as applicable).
• Experience with EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards.
• Availability to work 6:30 am - 6:30 pm (Mon–Fri).

Responsibilities

• Deliver developmentally appropriate and stimulating learning experiences for each child.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe and engaged.
• Communicate with parents about progress and address concerns.
• Collaborate with a team of educators to support learning.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices.

The opportunity

• Deliver developmentally appropriate and stimulating learning experiences that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Work collaboratively with a team of other educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

You

• Minimum Cert III qualification in ECEC (or equivalent).
• Valid WWCC
• Proven experience with EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards.
• Up to date Mandatory Reporting Child Protection certificate, food safety, red nose & sun smart (or willing to obtain)
• Proven experience in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Availability to work 6:30 am - 6:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
