Master Kid Child Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join on a casual basis, with potential for permanent employment. Based in Matraville NSW, you will deliver high-quality care and play-based learning, supporting children's development and wellbeing in a warm, inclusive environment.

You will work with a supportive team, adhere to child safety standards, and contribute to individual learning plans.

Qualifications

• A current Early Childhood qualification (Diploma or Certificate III in ECEC) recognised by ACECQA
• Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and Child Safety Standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families and colleagues
• Passion for working with young children and supporting learning and wellbeing
• Ability to stay calm and responsive in a busy environment
• Physical capability for active play and routines
• Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting positive behaviour management
• Flexibility and reliability for casual working arrangements
• Experience in early childhood settings valued

Responsabilités

• Supervising and caring for children in accordance with legislation and best practice
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and play-based learning
• Build positive relationships with children and families and provide regular progress updates
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment including supervision
• Assist with meal times, toileting and hygiene routines
• Observe and document children's learning and development for learning plans
• Support children with diverse needs and celebrate diversity
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent approaches to behaviour guidance
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy and safeguarding responsibilities
• Participate in professional development and team meetings
