Life Without Barriers is seeking a Disability Support Worker (Female) for casual shifts across Morley, Dianella and surrounding suburbs in Perth. You will support people with disability to engage in respite, lifestyle and community activities, building person-centred and active support to help clients achieve their goals.

Flexibility is essential, with varied shifts, and probity checks required. The role emphasises choice, independence, and meaningful participation in activities such as arts,

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disability.
• Experience with behaviour support plans.
• Experience with personal care and manual handling.
• Strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans.
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities.
• Maintain thorough record keeping.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
• Advocate for client choice and control.
