Job summary

All About Caring is hiring a Disability Support Worker (Casual) on the Central Coast Wyong. The role focuses on providing essential care to individuals with disabilities, including personal care, meal prep, transport, and community access.

Ideal candidates have experience with complex care, Auslan skills, and a compassionate, patient communication style. NSW driver license and reliable vehicle are preferred; training and development opportunities are offered within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Complex Care or willing to learn.
• Experience in education, teaching, childcare or homeschooling environment advantageous.
• Existing Auslan skills or willingness to learn.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
• A commitment to safe work practices and manual handling.
• NSW Driver License and access to reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care, meal preparation, transport, and community access.
• Medication management and related tasks.
• Shifts of 3–5 hours AM/PM at Woongarrah location.
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning, ventilation management (Young client).
• PEG care and communication support (AUSLAN).
• Social and personal care support for clients.
