1300SMILES Gladstone and The Dental Centre Gladstone Central are seeking casual Dental Assistants to support dentists chairside and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations across two established practices in the Abano Healthcare network.

You will assist with a range of general, restorative and preventive treatments, maintain sterilisation standards, manage stock and help deliver excellent patient care while working across shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday with flexibility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of sterilisation and infection control.
• Ability to anticipate needs and stay organised in a busy practice.
• Calm, capable approach when the day doesn't go to plan.
• Confidence to share knowledge and support less experienced team members.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Pride in your work and the standards you bring to the practice.

Responsabilités

• Providing confident chairside assistance across a broad range of dental procedures.
• Preparing surgeries and anticipating clinicians' needs throughout treatment.
• Keeping appointments running efficiently and supporting clinical workflow.
• Maintaining high standards of sterilisation and infection control.
• Managing clinical stock, equipment and surgery organisation.
• Helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment.
• Taking ownership of tasks and using your initiative during busy periods.
• Working collaboratively with the wider practice teams to deliver excellent patient care.
