Job summary

Genea is looking for an experienced Day Surgery Nurse to join our Sydney team on a casual basis. You will handle patient admission, pre-operative prep, assist doctors in the procedure room, and oversee safe recovery and discharge with clear instructions.

Ideal candidates will be registered nurses or midwives with AHPRA, hold a Working with Children Check, and bring experience in areas like midwifery or infertility. This role offers casual hours and patient-centered care within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Have scrub/scout or anesthetic/recovery experience.
• Be focused on customer service and patient care, both face to face and in a supporting role (telephone, email, etc).
• Be a registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA (mandatory)
• Have a working with Children's Check (mandatory)
• Experience in midwifery, reproductive and female health, and/or infertility is desirable

This role is perfect for an experienced Day Surgery Nurse looking for some casual hours. You will bring your strong clinical experience to this role, and also an exceptional commitment to patient care. Your previous experience and qualifications will ideally include;
