Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Caboolture-based Casual Construction Assistant to support a range of builders, landscapers and industrial clients. Immediate start with consistent shifts and strong weekly earnings.

You’ll work on commercial and residential projects, with duties spanning site prep, material handling, and assisting tradespeople. A White Card and valid licence are required, along with reliable transport and the ability to perform physically demanding work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist across commercial and residential construction and landscaping.
• Site preparation and clean-up, wheelbarrowing materials and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials; assist qualified tradespeople.
• Packing and stacking, general labouring duties as required.
• PPE compliance and on-site safety.
