Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Campbelltown-based Casual Construction Assistant to support landscapers, builders and shopfitters. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance, with typical weekly earnings around $1,400+ and ongoing casual assignments.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months in general labour or as a Trade Assistant, a Construction White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to perform physically demanding work.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial and residential landscaping, construction, and shopfitting tasks.
• Support qualified tradespeople on site and help with site clean-ups.
• Prepare work areas, carry materials, and assist with deliveries and material handling.
• Perform general labouring duties across manufacturing and industrial sites.
