Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Campbelltown-based Casual Construction Assistant to support landscapers, builders and shopfitters. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance, with typical weekly earnings around $1,400+ and ongoing casual assignments.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months in general labour or as a Trade Assistant, a Construction White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to perform physically demanding work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For
